The American University in Moscow is trying to develop a joint course with the Department of World Politics at Moscow State University in the area of U.S. - Russia relations. We are looking for American professors or experts who would agree to make at least one presentation in English in the online 1-hour lecture plus Q & A format using Skype technology, The subject of the lecture is up to the presenter but it must be related to some area of U.S. - Russia relations (politics, economy, military, culture, diaspora, etc). The time of the lecture can be selected on any Thursday from February 17 to May 12, 2011 at 10.00 AM Washington time (6.00 PM Moscow) and there is a modest honoraria for doing that.
This is the test pilot project which we expect to develop into something more substantial with seminars, round tables, essay publications, etc. We believe that this project will contribute to the better understanding of U.S. policies by the future Russian diplomats and foreign policy experts.
