RIA Novosti to hire two business journalists/reporters

RIA Novosti is expanding its English language service and is looking to hire two native speakers of English to cover and write on Russia’s dynamic business community. Russian nationals with English writing skills and experience will also be considered.

*Requirements/job profile:

Knowledge of Russia’s business environment, particularly corporate blue chips.
Able to write two to three short (approx 300 words) business news updates daily and three full-length articles weekly.
Able to conduct interviews with business decision-makers
Russian language skills enough to get the story right.
Experience in journalism is a plus, but not a requirement.

*RIA Novosti offers:

Competitive compensation.
Work visa
Legal tax residency

A great work environment and possibilities for advancement in a fast growing operation.

*RIA Novosti is the official news agency of the Russian government, but the positions cited above do not demand any particular political preference. Reporting on Russia’s business environment in the most accurate and fair way is what is asked for.
