Subject: Chernobyl tourism

The Ukrainian town of Slavutich, built to house atomic workers after the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear accident, is hosting a press tour to show the tourist potential of the Chernobyl area. There is room for up to 40 journalists on the tour, which will take place on Monday 18 April. Guests will see tourist infrastructure and the local horse and yacht clubs before attending a round-table discussion on tourist development to be held in the information centre of the mothballed atomic power station itself.
