Job announcement. As part of the expansion of its work on Russia and Eurasia, the Carnegie Endowment, a leading think tank specializing in international affairs, has two openings for senior associates: a specialist on Russian politics, security, or economics; and a specialist on the Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgiapolitics, frozen conflicts and/or energy). Both senior associates will be based in Washington but will work closely with the Carnegie Moscow Center and Carnegie Europe in Brussels. These two positions will deepen Carnegie’s innovative, policy relevant work on the Russia/Eurasia region.

Preferred candidates will have a sophisticated, in-depth knowledge of the region and a distinguished record of professional accomplishment including significant publications and/or substantial policy experience. In both cases, expertise in other nearby areas of the former Soviet Union, particularly Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova, is a plus. Salary commensurate with experience. Generous benefits. Send resume and letter of interest to: Search Committee. Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. E-mail to HR@ceip.org or FAX to (202) 939-2392. EOE.
