MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - United Russia leader Boris Gryzlov has proposed arranging export of drinking water out of Russia.

"We will enter new markets. Taking into account Russia's water resources, it is necessary to arrange exports of drinking water, because it will become another strategic commodity in about five years," Gryzlov said at the 9th congress of United Russia on Tuesday.

Russia should also reduce exports of raw materials, primarily hydrocarbons, Gryzlov said. "The development of the country's territory means also more efficient utilization of its natural resources," he said.

Russia should prepare for using oil only as a raw material for producing its own products, which is "much more efficient," Gryzlov said.

"Russia should export oil products rather than crude oil," he said.

It is also important to ban exports of round timber, he said.
