State Corporations Will In The Future Be Privatized - Putin

MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) - The establishment of state corporations in certain sectors of the Russian economy does not mean a transition to state capitalism, and their IPOs will take place in the future, including their full privatization, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"In general, we will be seeking to encourage state corporations to launch IPOs, up to their full privatization several years later, after the state makes significant investment in them, but, of course, this should be done on fair terms and at no detriment to the state," Putin said at a press conference on Thursday.

"This is our ultimate goal - we are not going to switch to state capitalism in any case," he said.
