Subject: "Putin's Empire" - Stefan Batory Foundation new book
I thought maybe you and JRL's subsribers might be interested in a book "Putin's Empire", which has just been published by Warsaw based Stefan Batory Foundation. The publication consists of eleven texts written by scholars from France, Poland, United States and Russia. Among contributers are: Alexander Auzana ("National Project" Institute), Yuri Fedorov (Chatham House), Igor Klyamkin ("Liberal Mission" Foundation), Michaela McFaul (Stanford University), Wlodziemierz Marciniak (Polish Academy of Science), Marie Mendras (Science Po), Arkady Moshes (Finnish Institute of International Affairs), Dmitry Oreshkin, Arseny Roginski and Lilia Shevtsova. The texts were written partly in English, partly in Russian.
