NOVO-OGARYOVO. April 27 (Interfax) - Russian-Chinese relations are absolutely problem-free, said Prime Minister and President-elect Vladimir Putin.

"We have not a single irritating factor, but we have common interests. And we have managed to work out effective instruments for attaining these goals in recent years," Putin told Li Keqiang, the executive vice premier of the People's Republic of China's State Council on Friday.

Putin asked Li to convey his warmest greetings to Chinese leader Hu Jintao and Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.

"Speaking about the level of Russian-Chinese relations, it is unprecedentedly high, and it is through our joint efforts that we have achieved this," Putin said.

He said Russian-Chinese trade reached a record volume of $83.5 billion for last year.

"As it always happens in the course of a large amount of work, questions may arise that need additional attention. But we have learned to do it the way close friends do - to look for compromises and find them," Putin said.

Li spoke in the same vein.

"We are walking along a big road, and, naturally, this road is not always as even as Nevsky Prospekt, difficulties happen along it. But I am sure that, as good friends, neighbors and partners, we will always be able to find solutions and achieve success," he said.

Li passed Putin greetings from China's top leaders and congratulated the Russian prime minister on behalf of China's government and people on his re-election as president.
