Vote in this unofficial, nonscientific online poll for the person who you think would best lead Russia, whether as President or Prime Minister.

Russian presidential elections take place March 4, 2012.

Names are listed in alphabetical order, followed by "Other" and include both the set of five officially registered presidential candidates (with names marked by *) and several others.

(Please note that there is no intention to endorse or oppose any particular candidate or figure, listed or not listed. Also note that the polling software limited selections to 10.)

The online poll will remain active for voting through March 4, 2012.

Officially registered candidates for the March 4, 2012, Russian presidential election include (in alphabetical order): Sergey Mironov (A Just Russia); Mikhail Prokhorov (Independent); Vladimir Putin (United Russia); Vladimir Zhirinovsky (Liberal Democratic Party of Russia); and Gennady Zyuganov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation)
