Experience proves the United States is not involved in this in Russia, he said in the Russian language at the Moscow School of Political Studies on Wednesday.

In the United States, change in the administration means change in the foreign policy, he went on to say. [Ex-U.S. Secretary of State] Condoleezza Rice, who is also a professor at Stanford University, could not have authored the reset, because eight years before she had engaged in a different foreign policy course with regards to Russia, McFaul said.

McFaul said also, that he knows what the color revolution is and who is doing it. Normally it is being done by local residents, by the way, not by the U.S. Department of State, McFaul said.
