Many Russians say authorities aren't threat to freedom

MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Forty-six percent of Russian citizens do not think the authorities are a threat to the freedom of speech or the press, while 38% hold the opposite opinion, and 16% are undecided.
These figures were made available to Interfax by the Yury Levada Analytical Center following a poll of 1,600 citizens held in 128 areas in 46 Russian regions on October 15-18.
