Russian Internet traffic up 69% in Q1
MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - The volume of information transferred by Russian Internet operators increased 69% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2003 to 211.9 million megabytes, the Telecoms Ministry reported.
The telecoms ministry reported that the volume of Internet connection via computer lines (through the Dial-up telephone network) increased 66% to 1.7 billion minutes. The number of outgoing e-mail traffic increased 33% to 4.1 million kilobytes.
