The National Council for Eurasian and East European Research (NCEEER) is pleased to announce the publication of these new studies on social science and humanities topics concerning the former Soviet Union and Central and East Europe. NCEEER is the largest national research organization supporting such research:

-- "Changes in the Structure of Earnings During a Period of Rapid Technological Change: Evidence from the Polish Transition" by Michael P. Keane of Yale University and Eswar S. Prasad of the International Monetary Fund

-- "Between Friend and Foe: U.S.-Russian Military Relations Ten Years After the End of the Cold War" by Sarah E. Mendelson of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy

-- "Post-Communist Transformation and Sociodemographic Change: Marriage and the Rise of Non-marital Births in Latvia" by Daina Stukuls Eglitis of George Washington University
