NIZHNY NOVGOROD. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Russian presidential candidate Dmitry Medvedev has spoken of the importance of continuity and stability for Russia and confirmed his willingness to work in tandem with Vladimir Putin.

"If I am trusted to run the country, I undertake to continue the path which has proved efficient, the path of President Putin," the presidential candidate said at a meeting with voters.

"If we continue to work together, then we can do some good for the country," Medvedev said.
