MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - The review of redundant and overlapping functions of executive bodies must be completed in the near future, chief of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Naryshkin said at the young lawyers' school conference, "Legislative efficiency and modern legal technologies".
"We will soon finish the review of redundant and overlapping powers of executive bodies and will introduce procedures preventing any similar situation in the future," Naryshkin said.
"Moreover, the executive bodies will become more transparent and their cooperation with civil organizations more efficient, a system will be formed to monitor the performance of executive bodies and to assess the reform process," said the head of the presidential administration.
"All in all, these steps are in line with the global trend toward reforming the system of public administration, and I am certain that they will have a positive effect in Russia as well," Naryshkin said.
