Subject: Response to #20 Gazeta.Ru Western Arctic JRL #177
Gazeta.Ru published that "The United States hurriedly sends out an icebreaker. Sweden and Denmark are outfitting an expedition. Canada is preparing to build a whole icebreaker fleet to defend its Arctic sovereignty." in response to the Russian submersible dives on the North Pole.
It is true that these expeditions are underway. However, they were planned several years ago and their schedules were not altered in any way to the Russian dives on the North Pole.
