MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - Any Russian party that resorts to financial assistance from abroad in the upcoming parliamentary election campaign will see a negative effect on its results, Russian Central Election Commission Chairman Vladimir Churov has said.

"If some political group resorts to foreign assistance in the current stable economic and political situation, you could qualify it as suicide," Churov said in an interview shown on Vesti-24 television channel on Thursday.

Voters will disapprove of a party being funded from abroad, Churov said.
